LAKE CAM Expanded! KASOAG 360 ENVIRONMENTAL EVENTS SLIDE SHOW

BULLETIN!!  In 2010, the Kasoag Lake Conservation Association is offering a Kasoag Lake Conservation Stewardship Grant.  Go to the Forms and Documents page to download grant details including eligibility and how to apply.
We are a not-for-profit lake association in Upstate New York and a member of the NYS Federation of Lake Associations (www.nysfola.org). Kasoag Lakes (there are four connected lakes comprising 58 acres) are located in the township of Williamstown on the Tug Hill Plateau in the Western foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. The lakes are surrounded by private property but there is limited public access for kayaking, canoeing and fishing. Kasoag Lakes contain an abundance of pan fish (sun fish, perch, blue gills) and game fish (crappies, bass, northern pike).

Bird Watchers will enjoy the abundance and variety of birds on and around the lakes: Bald Eagles, Great Blue Herons, Osprey, Mallards, Wood Ducks, Canada Geese, Downy Woodpeckers, Pilated Woodpeckers, Robins, Hummingbirds, Purple Martins . . . more.

In the Winter, Kasoag is a snowmobile mecca, with access to hundreds of miles of trails.  In addition, local folks enjoy ice fishing on Kasoag Lake.

The Kasoag Lake Conservation Association, began in 1957 as Kasoag Lake Park Association, later became The Kasoag Lake Association, and is now Kasoag Lake Conservation Association.  The organization is made up of members who pay annual dues.  Our purpose is to preserve, maintain and improve the lakes as a natural and recreational resource for all users, now and into the future.

We meet monthly from May thru September and host several events including an Annual Picnic, an Annual Fishing Derby and a Volunteer Appreciation Dinner.

The Kasoag Lake Conservation Association currently publishes a newsletter, "Kasoag Lake Courier", twice per year.  The Fall newsletter will go out to email subscribers only.  The Spring issue will be mailed to both members and lake residents.  Email us to request a copy of the next Kasoag Lake Courier.
